Information for trainee counsellors

Each year we have a limited number of clinical placements for counsellors in the final stage of their qualifying. We can offer you the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of committed professionals in an excellent environment. You will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of adults and issues. Competition is strong for places, but don't let that put you off applying. We have many years experience of working with trainee counsellors and you will find the support we offer is second to none.

Please make sure that you have read the "Application for trainee counsellors" - the first PDF on this page - before you complete the application form. Please also read the paragraph on closing dates below.

If you wish to type your application please email us and ask for the Microsoft Word version of the counsellor application form.


Closing dates

In order to be fair to those who may have spent time completing an application only to find that the vacancies were filled the week before, we now only consider applications from trainee counsellors looking for placements at certain points of the year. This website will always display below the next two closing dates which are coming up. Please ensure that your application is with us by the closing date. Any applications received after the next closing date will be held over for consideration at the next date.
